Pilates Technique is an informative class on equipment designed to teach the basics of Pilates. A good understanding of the Pilates vocabulary is essential to create a postural change.
The movements are taught with gentleness and a lot of attention to detail. This LEVEL 1 class is essential to build your understanding and the strength required to participate in the higher level classes.
LEVEL 2 classes explore the classical Pilates repertoire and all its variations. This higher level challenges your postural awareness by increasing the level of difficulty of the exercises. Your strength will also be challenged by adjusting the resistance of the springs and the number of repetitions performed.
Control is an essential element at this level. Advanced classes are designed to bring together a variety of exercises at different levels that work together to create a balanced and dynamic workout. The movements require flexibility, strength, balance and understanding of one’s anatomy in motion.
The Oov is a unique piece of equipment designed to awaken the deep stabilizers, which has significant benefits on spinal health. The shape of the Oov corrects muscle imbalances, stimulates proper breath, improves balance and helps regain an optimal neutral spine.
